Scar Relaxation / Skin Needling
Our scar relaxation/skin needling technique allows us to successfully treat fine wrinkles (i.e. wrinkled upper lips) and scars (i.e. acne scars) with a minimal amount of downtime and less costly than that of laser re-surfacing. This procedure is less invasive to the skin than laser re-surfacing because lasering destroys the entire top layer of the skin (epidermis), whereas with skin needling, only the wrinkles and scars are treated and the healthy skin around the area is untouched. In addition, the skin does not become de-pigmented and the skin is not sensitive to the sun as often seen as a result of laser re-surfacing. Yet, the body's reaction to skin needling is similar to its reaction to laser re-surfacing treatment. Our treatment breaks up the old collagen in the scar and causes a natural process within the skin to create a build-up of new collagen and elastin in the treated area just below the surface of the skin. This build-up of collagen fills the deeper areas of the wrinkles, and smooths out and tightens the surface of the skin. And because the needle only just penetrates through the epidermis layer and does not remove it, the skin heals quickly. Usually within a week of treatment, the skin will be a slight pinkish tone. Our process can be repeated anytime after the healing process has completed. We recommend allowing eight to twelve weeks between sessions to allow for sufficient collagen build-up. Skin needling can even be done on those with thin skin or those who have already had laser-resurfacing done. The following client had burn scars over 97% of her body. Our scar relaxation/skin needling and scar camouflage techniques were applied three times over the course of four months to various sections of her face. She also had permanent eyebrows and permanent eyeliners done, although due to the scar tissue, her permanent eyebrows may require a second session. As can be seen in the untouched After picture (she has no makeup on other than the permanent makeup), her skin is much smoother and contoured. Her scars are much more relaxed and her skin has greatly improved. The pigmentation of her skin has also evened out. After her treatments, she experienced much better movement around her face and neck areas.
Microdermabrasion
Our Signature Microdermabrasion using Sodium Bicarbonate crystals is a non-invasive and proven technique to treat the skin and bring back it's youthful glow. Starting with a cleansing and extraction, the treatment is followed by a Sodium Bicarbonate microdermabrasion session that will exfoliate the skin and trigger it to rejuvenate itself. OUR POLICIES... A consultation fee of $50 is due at the time of the consultation appointment. This fee is credited towards the cost of the consulted procedure. A credit card is required to hold an appointment. A $100 deposit will be required to schedule an appointment for a procedure. Rescheduling an appointment requires a 24 hour notice (no exceptions). If less than a 24 hour notice is given, or if an appointment is a "no-show", a $100 fee will be charged. The $100 deposit will be applied toward any procedure of choice. One follow-up visit must be scheduled within 4 weeks. If a touchup is required, it will be done for a minimal fee to cover costs of anesthetics and needles. If a follow-up appointment is missed, that visit will be forfeited and will result in a charge for additional follow-up visits.  We accept all major credit cards, cash, check, and PayPal.
